My 2025 Tom Ferry Success Summit Experience

This year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Tom Ferry Success Summit 2025 in Dallas, Texas—a gathering of over 6,500 real estate professionals from across the nation. It wasn’t just about learning new strategies; it was about connecting, growing, and sharing why I believe The Grand in the Northwest Valley is one of the best places to live and invest in the U.S.

Here’s a look into my personal journey—day by day—mixed with insights from fellow Realtors and the wisdom we all came together to gain from Tom Ferry and his team.

Day 1: Arrival, Hustle, and a “Broomstick” Adventure

The journey started with me navigating the Dallas airport on my scooter (thank you, Randy, for dubbing me “Broomstick”—the nickname stuck!). Between flights and check-ins, I was still writing offers for my buyers back in Surprise, Arizona.

That first day set the tone: this business never stops. While many agents arrived ready to network, I was already deep in negotiations.

But Dallas had its own surprises. Joshua Brown from Royal Rides picked me up, and what started as a simple ride turned into a connection—I ended up helping him find a Realtor to assist in securing warehouse space in Dallas. Proof that networking happens everywhere, not just inside the conference rooms!

Meanwhile, with 6,500 Realtors breaking for lunch daily, I knew survival meant being resourceful. My hotel came equipped with two fridges, and I stocked them up with drinks and snacks and posted on the Tom Ferry Private Facebook group: “Want in on my surprise Arizona happy hour? Message me with the codeword ‘Surprise Arizona.’”

Within an hour, I had 40 new Realtor connections from across the country—all were curious about investing in Arizona. Day 1 wasn’t just about getting settled; it was about putting The Grand on the national stage.

Tom Ferry’s message on Day 1 was about thinking bigger, building leverage, and creating scalable businesses. Hearing that while actively writing offers reminded me that success in real estate is about working smart and staying connected, even when life throws travel and challenges into the mix.

Day 2: Learning, Coaching, and Gratitude

Day 2 was when the real learning began—10am to 5pm of nonstop sessions with Tom Ferry and his top coaches. I balanced between icing my feet in my hotel room while negotiating for clients and absorbing the energy of thousands of motivated agents.

One of the most moving parts of this day was reflecting on how lucky I am to have not just the best real estate coach, Betty Graham, but also a community of Realtors who genuinely support me. The Summit isn’t just about tactics—it’s about being surrounded by people who push you to be your best.

That evening, I enjoyed dinner with fellow Realtors from across the country. Being reminded that I have both a coach I trust and friends who support me reinforced how blessed I am in both business and community.

Tom Ferry emphasized the importance of personal branding and storytelling—not just what you sell, but the why behind your business. For me, that means sharing why Surprise, Arizona, isn’t just a great place to live, but a smart place to invest.

Day 3: Promoting Surprise, Building Bridges

By Day 3, the networking floodgates opened. Nearly everyone I spoke to had clients interested in Arizona. I found myself in countless conversations with Realtors from Florida, Washington, California, Iowa, and Nebraska. That gave me the chance to explain why Surprise is such a strong market. I spoke about Surprise as a hub for logistics, trucking, taxation benefits, family living, and even the role of companies like State Farm in driving growth. Each conversation confirmed what I already know: The Grand is a hidden gem that’s quickly becoming a national conversation.

These conversations reminded me why I attend events like this: to invest in my own growth so I can better represent my clients and promote my community on a national stage.

I spent part of the day in my hotel room, resting and icing my leg while tuning into the live-streamed sessions online. Even from my room, the energy of 6,500 Realtors learning together came through loud and clear.

Sessions focused on building scalable businesses and effective systems—so that success isn’t just about working harder but also working smarter.

One big theme from the day’s sessions was systems and scalability—how the best Realtors aren’t just closing deals but building operations that can thrive with or without them. It’s about working on the business, not just in it.

Honored, Inspired, and Ready to Lead with Love

By the end of the conference, I was both energized and humbled. I am honored to sit with so many successful, powerful realtors from all over the country and little old me in Surprise Arizona!

I know my market. I believe in it. And by the end of this Summit, there wasn’t a single Realtor I met who didn’t leave knowing just how incredible Surprise is as an investment destination.

It was also a true privilege to meet Kathy Ferry, Tom Ferry’s wife. Meeting her was an honor and added a personal and memorable touch to my Summit experience.

The biggest lesson I walked away with was to lead with love—in my business, in my coaching, and in how I show up for clients. Success isn’t just about the number of deals. It’s about relationships, consistency, and showing people that you truly care.

Attending the Tom Ferry Success Summit 2025 was more than a business decision—it was a life decision. It reminded me why I coach, why I network, and why I constantly reinvest in myself: because my clients deserve the best version of me.

So here’s to another year of growth, friendships, deals, and—of course—spreading the good word about The Grand, Surprise, Arizona.
