Briarwood’s “Superintendent’s Revenge Golf Tournament” was a great season finale!

The season finale tournament at Briarwood Country Club was a fun and lively golf tournament where the Superintendent and golf staff hosted a tournament for the members with challenging obstacles throughout the course! Foursomes were organized by the Staff and “A Scramble” was the format. From tractors, mowers & rakes strategically layed out on the course, players having to tee off inside sand traps to wind around trees…every hole had a unique challenge!

A wine and cheese party was held after the tournament inside the Pro Shop offering season ending bargains in the Pro Shop.

The day ended with a dinner in the banquet room, awards and a “Fond Farewell” to our Winter Snowbird member’s who are heading back to colder climates for the summer.

This is the time I love the most around Briarwood Country Club. While the mid days are hot, it is so nice to tee off around 8am and get 18 holes in before noon. This is also a wonderful time to explore a dining or social membership over the summer at the club to meet those like us who are here all year long and enjoy the many amenities of the club!
